glass etching DIY

Happy Eid my friends! May Allah accept your prayers, supplications and best of deeds. Today I will be sharing a video tutorial to show you how to etch on glass using an Arabic calligraphy stencil.

I used a vinyl stencil of the Arabic greeting for Eid (birthdays and a new year) that says; “Kol Aam Wa Antom Bekhair”and translates to; “May you be in good health this upcoming year”.kol-am stencilI also used:

  1. A glass Vase
  2. Etching cream (I used Armour Etch)
  3. Masking tape
  4. Wet paper towels (or you can rinse under running water)

Check out the video to see how easy it is to etch this Arabic Eid greeting on glass. Enjoy!
