Fabric Wall Art With Islamic Calligraphy Decals

Remember this framed fabric art grouping that I made from a throw pillow with Palestinian embroidery?

Fabric framed art 1 Well, I found a way to turn them into a religious inspiration.

Can you guess how?

Yep! with my Islamic calligraphy decals.

I chose the following Islamic quotes; Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulilah (Thank God), La Illaha Illa Allah (there is no God but Allah), Allahu Akbar (God is greatest). These are said to be the most beloved words to Allah.

Adding the calligraphy decals to each frame was very simple. This is all you have to do….

1. Disassemble the frame.

2. Apply the calligraphy decal on the photo mat according to the application directions. Framed fabric art 2

3. Reassemble the frame.

4. Repeat with all Calligraphy quotes

All Done!

I pass by these frames several times a day as they are hung in the entry room. While they looked  fantastic before, I believe that the calligraphy adds meaning as well as majesty to an otherwise simple fabric wall art.

P.S. I apologize for the quality of these pictures. Photography classes are on my long to-do list!
